Derry Ainsworth for the March 2025 issue of National Geographic Traveller

Derry Ainsworth was commissioned by National Geographic Traveller to photograph Hong Kong for the March magazine issue. Derry spent a couple of weeks in Hong Kong, hanging out with local tour guides to soak up the city's culture. He joined tours that took him through old neighbourhoods, street food joints, beautiful nature and bustling city locations. His job was to document these experiences through his camera, really getting into the unique story and importance of each place. Derry wandered through markets, parks, and landmarks, trying to capture the true vibe of each spot with his lens. By the end of it all, he had a stunning photo collection and had made some great connections with the guides, who were super passionate about their unique tours in Hong Kong.
