'COLLECTED MEMORIES 010 - SHAM SHUI PO 深水埗' is an animated photo collage made up from hundreds of original photographs and video clips from the busy district of Sham Shui Po in Hong Kong. After moving to the area in 2022, now calling this place my home, I have tried to capture the true personality of Sham Shui Po with this piece.

Original photos were taken between 2016-2022. 1 of 1 NFT.

About Derry Ainsworth

Hong Kong-based British artist Derry Ainsworth (b.1991) is a celebrated multidisciplinary artist famed for his unique perspective of Asian culture, Ainsworth's new digital art series Collected Memories has received world recognition by institutions and art collectors internationally.

About Marcopolo Auctions Marcopolo was established in 2022 with the idea of filling a gap in the Italian marketplace, due to the absence of an institution specialising in providing consultations, by providing a brokerage service for buying and selling services of Oriental art and antiques. Therefore, in an ever-changing market dominated by uncertainty, we aim to provide a full-service ranging from expert consultations (identification/estimation/studying of objects) to final mediation through auction or private sale, as well as purchase advice. In order to provide the highest quality service, we rely on a team of international esteemed experts with extensive knowledge of the Asian art and antiques market. In addition, we also rely on a deep network of relationships in the high-end market, including museums, private collectors and investment funds. Our wide range of expertise covers Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Southeast Asian, Indian, Islamic, Himalayan and Gandhara art.

Our initiative is to act with the utmost transparency and confidentiality to guide our clients and meet their highest expectations, both in the sale (identification and estimation of the object, choice of the best sales strategy, materialization of the mediation), and purchase processes (advisory on purchasing, object search service, proxy bidding service).

Thus, our Mission is to advise and accompany you in the complex world of East Asian art and antiques.
